The final conference of the BSAFE project took place in Brno on 3 April 2025. The event was organised by Podané ruce.

The conference featured presentations by experts on the topic of gender-based violence, as well as presentations by representatives of NGOs and public institutions.

 

      The day-long programme offered inspiring lectures focused on the specifics of gender-based violence in the context of migration, examples of good practice from the field and challenges faced by helping professionals. Panel discussions created a space for sharing experiences and promoting cooperation between institutions. The conference provided new insights, inspiration and confirmed that violence prevention requires an interdisciplinary approach, empathy, courage to tackle difficult issues and strong institutional support and cooperation across sectors.

 

      We believe that this final conference was an inspiring experience for all participants, which brought not only new insights but also motivation to take further steps in the field of gender-based violence prevention. We hope that the contacts made and experiences shared will lead to deeper cooperation, greater awareness of this issue and systemic changes that will contribute to increased safety and dignity for all.
